How this website works
Information you send us
When you use the quote form we receive what you type: your name, phone number, email address, whether you are buying or refinancing, your city or ZIP code, and your timeline. We use it to respond to your request. If you tick the optional marketing box, we may also use it to send you information about our services until you opt out.
Please do not send Social Security numbers, account numbers or documents through the quote form or by ordinary email. Loan applications are completed in a separate secure system.
This site is hosted by Cloudflare, and quote-form messages are delivered to our company email by an email delivery service. These providers process your message only to deliver it to us, under written terms that require them to protect it. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with anyone else so they can market to you.
Calculators
The calculators on this site run entirely in your browser. The numbers you enter are not sent to us and are not stored.
Cookies and similar technology
This site does not use advertising cookies or analytics trackers.
The quote form uses a security check from Cloudflare to block automated spam, which may set a cookie that is strictly necessary for that purpose. Videos are embedded from YouTube in a privacy-enhanced mode and load only when you press play. YouTube may set cookies at that point.
Global Privacy Control
This site is built to recognize the Global Privacy Control signal that some browsers send. When the signal is on, the site does not load any optional analytics or marketing technology.
Requests about your information
We respond to reasonable requests to see, correct or delete the personal information you have given us through this website, subject to the records we are required by law to keep.
Business changes
If Steel City Mortgage, LLC is sold or merged, information may be transferred to the successor company, which will remain bound by the commitments in this notice.
